“Mesmerising”   “Unexpected”   “@#$%^& Awesome”

A remarkable piece. A story of music, love and journey.

Music has always held a special place in my life’s journey, but not to the extent that this father and daughter have shared and bonded. Through this snapshot performance, they have captured the essence of being family — fallible and vulnerable — with one constant thread holding the stitches together, telling their story through a musical kaleidoscope of well known and original songs.

A story told with honesty, humour, a touch of sadness, empathy, joy and kinship. Stu and Rosie, through exquisite uke playing and wonderful voices, along with songs and stories, take us through their journey so far.

Exceptional, to say the least. It allows us to see inside a relationship that is all too often kept privately between family members — rarely expressed for all to experience and reflect upon, yet it speaks to something in every one of us.
